Midnight Walk

Midnight Walk was filmed at night in the stairwell of an old apartment building. A figure moves between the staircase and a tall window but never stays in focus long enough to be recognized. The soundtrack layers footsteps, distant traffic and the hum of the building.

The work comes from the restless hours when you walk through a familiar home and it starts to feel unfamiliar. Long exposures turn the body into a trace of movement, more a presence than a person. The house becomes the real subject: a place that remembers who passed through it.
