Director of Photography & Post-Production: Serin Lee
Performer (Entity C): Ava Kim
ID:Space C follows a Videolog Entity held inside a “Class C” simulation, a closed environment built to look like an empty hall after hours. The entity drifts through the space until a fine cloud of white light gathers above its head. At that moment the simulation can no longer hide its own edges.
Serin shot the work with haze and low practical light so that the digital and the physical share one surface. The film asks what self-awareness would look like from inside an image. It is less an awakening than a slow noticing of the boundary.
This work was produced with the support of the Institute of Contemporary Media Arts Berlin.
