Bubble

Bubble is a room-sized installation made of a single green light, a tiled wall and a narrow doorway. When visitors step into the light, a slow-shutter camera records them and projects their image back a few seconds later, blurred like someone half-remembered.

The work looks at the private space each person carries, the thin bubble between the self and its surroundings. Inside the installation that boundary becomes visible for a moment and then gives way, leaving only a green afterimage on the wall.
